Are You Afraid of the Cloud?

In the spooky spirit of Halloween this week, what scares people and businesses away from using the cloud? Many companies feel there’s no need to try new technology because all this time, they’ve been successful with the resources they currently have. Why change?

Does-cloud-computing-scare-youWe change because it makes our jobs better. Innovation makes our lives more interesting. Being agile makes you even more successful.

Buying items online used to frighten a lot of people. Who could imagine giving their credit card information over the internet? There were fears of where that information was going, who else could see it, and what would happen to that information after the purchase was completed.

Look how far we’ve come.

Now we hardly think twice before entering our personal information into an online form. And look how easy that’s made our lives! We can save time from waiting on the phone with a sales representative, pay our bills without the worry that it might get lost in the mail, and most of our errands can almost be eliminated. You can even now buy groceries online and have them delivered to your doorstep. Amazing!

The cloud is still a fairly new concept. It’s out there and people talk about it, but they don’t necessarily know what it is. They aren’t necessarily aware of the impact it can have on their companies, their employees, and their own lives. Cloud computing encompasses a lot more than you probably think. The potential a company has when migrating to the cloud is far beyond what some people ever expect to see it grow to. Amaze them. Educate yourself on all that the cloud has to offer and start today.

Start with the truths.
