As one of Cloudbakers' newest additions to the marketing team, I have spent a lot of time during my first two weeks exploring the many uses of Hubspot and learning to efficiently create and manage Cloudbakers' content. With the INBOUND Conference just around the corner, I figured I'd focus my first post on just that. Enjoy!
Let’s face it—traditional marketing methods are a dying breed. The days of cold calling ended with the ever-growing Do Not Call list, and “Snail mail” has been replaced by faster, more sustainable email. Even email marketing, however, is seeing a decline in efficacy, as spam boxes filter and delete anything that resembles an advertisement.
So where does this leave us marketers?
The average American spends roughly 3 hours surfing the web each day. There is no doubt that the best way to reach an American audience is via the web. Social media like Facebook and Twitter have grown exponentially in the past decade, and these leaders of the online revolution are not alone. More and more networking sites appear daily, with the popularity of each varying by country. Today’s online social and professional networking environment is face-paced, effective, and importantly, rapidly changing. It used to be that only grandma and grandpa got lost trying to utilize the tools of the web, but with the complexity and intricacies of today’s online environment, we could all use a little help. This is where Hubspot comes in.
There are several features Hubspot offers that turn the novice web marketer into an online Jedi. First and foremost, it offers the smoothest Search Engine Optimization (SEO) on the market. We aren’t talking about a list of instructions. We’re talking about a easy to use platform that literally offers you advice as you type. All you have to do is make an effort, and Hubspot will guide you through the SEO process. This platform will detect who you are trying to reach, instruct you on the best methods for reaching that audience, and then analyze your results, likely telling you how well you did. The interface is seamless, and the results have been experienced by over 15,000 customers in over 90 countries.
With such a large, international customer basis, it is needless to say that Hubspot covers all the social media grounds. Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Google+, and more—all can be accessed, managed, and reviewed within the same Hubspot interface. Hubspot will prioritize the posts you see, keeping you up to date on the latest and greatest about your online presence. It will schedule your posts for each medium, automatically publish your big news, and allow you to spend your time elsewhere. And of course, it will provide analytics, showing you your impressive social ROI. All of this done in a platform so smooth and simple, even your grandma could use it….maybe.
These are just a few of the marketing tools Hubspot has to offer. Take a further look at the limitless opportunities in which this revolutionary platform can perfect your online presence.
